I am sure the above title is going to get some adverse attention – and let me say up front I do pray and believe in Jesus Christ – This Hubpage is to show you how skewed our thinking and searching on the Internet is what really pays the bills when it comes to Google’s Adsense and how to make money online with the proper targeted niche keywords.
The word Jesus is only searched about 300,000 times a month in the USA – and it pays almost a penny or two a click – I guess the TV evangelists have not figured out how to use Adwords to draw more people to their flock or they have already tried and found that not enough people are looking for the big guy to warrant an advertising investment. I am sure there are hubbers that have hundreds of pages targeted to the keywords Jesus, God, etc. But I am guessing even with one thousand hubs published with this content they are making about $5.xx to $10.xx a month if they are lucky.
People tend to drop to their knees when they are looking for the man upstairs rather than surfing for him. So with Adsense and making money online with religion or belief does not pay. So let’s keep looking for the keywords that pay us.

(see attached photo –not of the boobs but Adwords information). So now we know that when it comes to niche markets like religion and sex it doesn’t pay but pennies for work of creating content.
I have noticed there are some fellow hubbers complaining about their income and the above example is why – “Just because you love to write doesn’t mean that you will make money online”. Making money online is not for the gleeful writer that only spins out content on what they feel like (unless they have a love for bad credit loans and writing) people who are reading stories about what I did at Grandma’s Farm One Summer 30 years ago is not going to get an audience that will most likely click on an Adsense ad or buy something from Amazon.
Speaking of Amazon.com this affiliate program can be a real cash cow when it comes to certain niche subjects. One that comes to mind is for motorcycles – Adsense doesn’t pay much for motorcycle keywords, except for Harley Davidson and Motorcycle Insurance. The keyword “Motorcycle” is searched fro about 450,000 times a month on Google alone. So writing great reviews about the new Suzuki Hayabusa, or SV-650 will get you lots of readers but just pennies of revenue. Amazon.com on the other hand sells repair guides for all motorcycles and this is where the money can be made on this niche. Another is EBay affiliates – Motorcycle parts and accessories new or used are big sellers on Ebay.com and is a real money maker when it comes to getting replacement parts or those new saddle bags.
Here is where the money meets the information highway – Write about what people are desperate for – The new mommy who wants to get rid of her baby fat – the 14 year old teenage girl that wants to get rid of her acne so the boys will like her again, The desperate house wife who needs a supplemental income that she can work from home due to her husband having to take a pay cut at work, The grandmother who just found out her son has prostate cancer and is looking for a cure.
When people are desperate and looking for answers to something that is in their life at this very moment are the people you want to attract and convert to the advertisers that place ads on your Hubpages.
Yes you can make money-writing reviews on coffee pots, and iron skillets and get a lot of traffic but the truth is that human suffering type subjects have the highest click through rates of any subject. The rest of our human keyword inventory is just supplemental and surfed casually will little interest to the reader (they are just killing time).
A person with 400 Hubpages on weight loss, acne treatments, depression, alcohol addiction, drug addiction, hair loss prevention, hair removal and the like is going to make massive amounts of money compared to the whimsical writer who writes about their childhood tree house or Lincoln log cabin they built with Daddy and Grandpa.
Combining keyword niches is a real boon to your income as well – like how to make money online and lose belly fat. How to cure acne and lose weight fast now. How to remove acne scars and remove unwanted facial hair. There are millions of people jockeying for the top five positions in Google, Bing and Yahoo to get the natural organic web traffic they need to succeed. We have to be doing it smarter, faster and with lots of strategic planning.
Who ever combined the words Passive Income and Make Money Online was a complete and utter moron from the beginning. Passive income is usually joined with subjects like rental properties, and investments that require lots of your capital but little work on your part. Making Money Online with Adsense is real work and just taking a stab at it in the dark will never work unless you are some sort of “Rain Man” savant that can see words in your mind and can pick the winners without research and development.
The best advice anyone could give if you are floating in the sea of low or no dollars from your online efforts is to give “The Keyword Academy” a good firm look see – and learn how to quit wasting your time and make some real money.
